Synopsis

A businessman suddenly lies down on a London pavement, prompting a passerby to trip over him and demand an explanation. As more pedestrians gather, their concern turns into bafflement and frustration. Radiohead perform in an apartment overlooking the scene while the street conversation unfolds through subtitles. When the man finally gives his reason, the crucial words are withheld from the viewer. The crowd's unexpected response turns the encounter into an unsettling, darkly comic mystery.

• The concept began as an idea for a short film rather than a conventional music video. Hearing "Just" convinced the filmmaker that the song and story belonged together.

• The street scenes were filmed around Liverpool Street in London, while Radiohead's performance was shot on a constructed apartment set.

• The production took two days to shoot. The art direction drew inspiration from Bernardo Bertolucci's 1970 film "The Conformist."

• Dorian Lough, who plays the passerby who first confronts the man, was chosen partly because of his resemblance to French actor Jean-Louis Trintignant.
