"Stan" is one of the most profound video's of all time- in short, Eminem does it again. Not only is the song and the concept original in a new sence, but the video completly captures both. "Stan" shows the aggrivation and frustration in a fan of not being able to "truly" connect and communicate with their idol. It shows the breakthrough of anxiety in the obsessed person, and what could happen when they crack. It also reminds people of the pressure placed on the artists, and then amount of fan letters, emails, etc. they get- and how they do not have time to respond promply to everyone. Winning many awards and becoming one of the most well known videos of all time, I give you "Stan". |
