Synopsis

Bryan Ferry performs in a dark, theatrical setting while David Gilmour appears alongside him on electric guitar. Their studio footage is intercut with scenes from Ridley Scott's fantasy film Legend, creating a visual bridge between Ferry's romantic song and the movie's enchanted world. The clip draws on the film's imagery of forests, unicorns, darkness, and magic rather than presenting a separate narrative. Ferry and Gilmour are also composited into the film footage, making the promotional video feel like an extension of Legend itself.

• The video was made to promote the U.S. release of Legend, whose theatrical version used a Tangerine Dream soundtrack. Ferry's song plays over that version's end credits.

• Legend existed in different cuts with different scores. The European release and later director's cut used Jerry Goldsmith's music, while the U.S. version featured Tangerine Dream and "Is Your Love Strong Enough?"

• David Gilmour contributes the prominent electric-guitar solo. Ferry later recalled that the track began as a partly finished idea that he completed for the film.

• Ferry said in a later interview that he liked the verses and Gilmour's solo, but felt the released mix was somewhat too "shouty" and that he would mix it differently.
