I doubt very much that you are even paying attention to this topic any longer since it was posted 4 months ago, but it popped up as a result while I was trying to find the very same information. After a little bit of "research" I found that the name of the artist that you're looking for is Frou Frou and the song that is played in the trailer/commercial for Garden State is called 'Let Go' =) Hopefully this helps anyone else who stumbles across this topic =)
