New layout, rebranding and new perspective

With the year coming to an end, we've got changes everywhere here on Clipland.

After years of using our trusty old web-design, it became clear over the past months that a growing percentage of users reaching our site from mobile platforms needed something lighter, less cluttered and up to today's standards. Our redesign, lifted into live deployment yesterday, is testament to those newer and growing demands. It's mobile ready and clearer in structure. We've bundled the redesign of the site surface with a number of updates and improvements under the hood and on the editorial side. Some have already been deployed (like our new search) or will be rolled out soon. And while we fix some lingering issues with the redesign, we are transitioning into working on the overall quality of entries in our Clipland database. The new perspective for our service is to put video content into front row, offering the best possible user experience. Users come here to be entertained, with hand-picked, curated content while offering extensive back-catalog coverage. We will focus on delivering this premise.

One thing that we have decided to shut down is user uploaded video. We're closing this section of the site in January 2018 and offer users who have uploaded content to download their original files.

Feel free to drop us feedback via the bottom feedback button available on every page - or start a discussion in Clipland Forum. We're here for you, the users. Tell us what can be improved.
