Citroen advert

User question: "I have selected two adverts (the Citroen transformer/dancing car.) ... background information on techniques used, ideas behind design or audience research associated with this advert and if you have any knowledge, due to your website, on how this advert was recieved my audiences"

Our answer: "As you surely know the advert is filed under Citroen Transformer in our db.

The credits: Agency: Euro RSCG, London Copywriter: Matt Anderson Art Director: Steve Nicholls Producer: Nicola Evans Production Company: Spy Films, Toronto Director/CG Artist: Neill Blomkamp Executive Producer: Carlo Trulli Visual Effects: The Embassy Visual Effects, Vancouver Producer: Winston Helgaso: FX DP: Trevor Cawood Choreographer/Dancer: Marty Kudelka (The Bloc Agency)

The VFX shop 'the embassy' has a mov of the spot online at: http://www.theembassyvfx.com/qt/Citroen_480.mov

The spot in general was quite a hit among the audience. Even a fist spoof of it appeared online. Check out http://www.x-bam.com/ to see more of it.

Another thing with commercials is always the music. In this ad the music is a remix of Les Rythmes Digitales 'Jacques Your Body (Make Me Sweat)'. Originally realeased the song quietly got dust. But as soon as the ad was out the lable decided to re-release it and it got significant radio airplay - especially on UK readio stations."
