World's oldest short film festival is entering its next round.
If you happen to be in Germany this May, mark your calendar for the 56th International Short Film Festival in Oberhausen. As in the years before, the festivals jury will be screening a fine selection of outstanding national and international short films.
The curators of the event have chosen 490 films out of 5,418 submissions. Short film professionals as well as interested visitors are welcome to see some of the finest works of the past year, experimental films, student films, art films and short live-action films of all genres. The festival can be attended between April 29th and May 4th.
Still some days left to vote for the MuVionline: 12 music videos out of 170 entries are nominated for the 12th MuVi Award for the best German music video. You decide on the most popular music video by choosing your favourite clip. The winner clip receives a price money of EUR 500 which is exclusively reserved to the directors. The price money will be handed over at the MuVi Award ceremony on 1 May 2010 in the Lichtburg Filmpalast.
