Hollywood News

The next James Bond 007 film is already underway, but the latest news is, without director! Roger Michell signed off after as he said creative differences. The Bond film No. 22 featuring Daniel Craig is scheduled for release in May 2008, without the Notting Hill director.

1 "Hitch"-director Andy Tennant is currently doing the adventure-love-comedy "Fool's Gold". Although in early pre-production (release in 2008), the project already signed-on Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson.

2 Brett Ratner, who shot X-Men: The Last Stand, is currently remaking "The Boys From Brazil" (1978).

3 The next project for Dough Liman after Mr. and Mrs. Smith is "Jumper". Already on board is ex Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen, who seems to be predestined for big budget films these days. Also, we need to see if the spin-off TV series of Mr. and Mrs. Smith is any good.

More relase dates: Die Hard 4, titled "Live Free or Die Hard" (shot by Len Wiseman), will come to cinemas in June 2007. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is currently in pre-production and will follow Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, directed by David Yates, across Europe on November 21, 2008.
