A Showreel, sometimes called a Demoreel, demo reel, show reel or just "the reel" usually refers to a collection of works by an individual video artist of a film company and works as a collage of representative work to promote the issuer's skill and talent.

Like artists have Portfolios, persons working in film/video whether it be acting, directing, cinematography, editing, motion graphics, or animation have reels.
