Air-Edel Recording Studios is a top recording facility in Central London, close to Soho. The building was originally designed as the meeting hall for the Theosophical Society and was transformed in the late 1940's by Star Sound Studios, into the UK's first independent recording studio. During the period the facility was mainly used to record audience shows for broadcast.

Air-Edel bought the premises in 1990 from Audio International Ltd. The building was totally refurbished and a third studio added. Air-Edel offers full synchronisation to picture facilities in two of its three studios.

Air-Edel Music Publishing The Air-Edel group includes two specialist publishing companies, AE Copyrights Ltd and Air-Edel Associates Ltd, whose activities include administering both catalogue and the individual works of composers and songwriters. Focus is on composers working in the area of specially commissioned music for feature film, TV, radio, theatre, ballet and commercials.

Trivia In the late 1980s film composer HansZimmer worked here and composed TV- and Radio- Advertising Jingles. The collaboration with Stanley Meyers here was a great source of knowledge for him.
