How do I upload Files?
Uploading files to your Clipland PRO | Portfolio© is possible by using 3 different options. Currently the general file size limit on Clipland is 50MB.
1. from your Harddrive (via Browser) Via browser usually fits the average user uploading multiple not too large files. The download is handled by the browser but NOT showing you a progress dialog during upload. This and other things make this an easy but also vulnerable option to upload files. 2. from the Web (download from the web) From another webserver is your option of choice is you already uploaded your files to the internet and if you don't want to squeeze these megabytes through your dial-up connection once again. Just let our webserver download the files vie backend to your portfolio. Please note that you can't download files from streaming servers. Only files reachable and downloadable via http qualify. Streaming protocols such as RTSP, MMS or similar are not yet supported. 3. via FTP (using FTP-client software FTP is for lots of files, large files or both. FTP guarantees for an uninterupted connection during upload and is reliable for large files. But you need experience with ftp-client software and need to rename your files according to our upload-token-system's requirements. The process is:
Hint: the system also recognizes Clipland ID-keys in filenames. If you add "_key<9DigitCliplandKey>" to your filenames the system will automatically link them to the specified Clipland entry after upload. further reading: The Portfolio Main Screen Portfolio Quick Start Guide
