Clipland has access to a broad range of media content. All of the over 25,000 assets licensable through Clipland are accessible and browsable via our VideoShelf© service.

As a matter of fact, we can't guarantee for consistent availability throughout such a large library. Some assets in our catalog are available immediately through Clipland as we have them literally "on the shelf". For others we can guarantee supply within a short delay-period, while again others aren't available at all (due to age, distribution status, copyright issues etc.)

In order to help you while browsing Clipland PRO | VideoShelf©, we introduced a simple set of icons. Here are their meanings and implications for availability and thus your order:

This asset is immediately available, as we have it on archive.

This asset is not immediately available, but we can order it for you with a few days of delay.

This asset is currently not available due to issuer restrictions, copyright, unresolved distribution issues, etc.


We have a high-quality broadcast master available. Usually this means DigiBeta or higher or standard Betacam SP.

We have a limited-quality file/master of this asset. Playback quality is limited but adequate for usual desktop playback, use on the internet etc. If you don't mind the quality, you can also broadcast it on TV etc.

We have a poor copy of this asset on archive. Either the master is corrupted, only partly available or not clean-feed (marked with overlays). We do not sell assets of this quality through VideoShelf.


Common combinations:
We can supply limited quality immediately, but if you need a broadcast master, we can usually deliver with a short delay.


Ordering such an item means we can deliver up to broacast quality but need a short delay for the ordering of this file for you.
