Synopsis

The Vengaboys hit the road in their brightly painted Vengabus, picking up passengers and spreading an anything-goes party mood wherever they travel. The journey moves through the Province of Barcelona, with the band and fellow revelers turning the old-fashioned bus into a mobile dance floor. After a string of playful roadside encounters, the travelers arrive at a nightclub in La Barceloneta, where the trip culminates in a full-scale celebration of dancing, color, and communal fun.

Factoids & Trivia

• The bus featured in the video is identified as a 1933 Chevrolet Series O Bus, giving the clip its distinctive vintage traveling-show look.

• The video was produced by Zapruder Films.

• According to the Vengaboys' official site, the bus had no working brakes during the shoot, an especially hazardous detail considering how prominently the vehicle features throughout the video.

• The song gained a major second life in the United States when its instrumental version became the centerpiece of Six Flags' "It's Playtime!" advertising campaign, featuring the dancing character Mr. Six in commercials that ran from 2004 to 2005.
