Synopsis

Set inside a deserted office tower after dark, the video follows Matthew Good as a janitor moving through a building monitored by security cameras. His routine unfolds alongside a series of troubled office workers: an executive spirals after losing his job, a woman arrives at the building, and various employees retreat into isolation, distraction, or self-destructive behavior. The band's members appear among the building's occupants, creating a bleak, interconnected portrait of alienation beneath the polished surface of corporate life.

• The video was filmed in Vancouver. Its exterior uses the Vancouver Central Library, while the interior scenes were shot in the Toronto Dominion Tower.

• "Apparitions" was released as the third single from the Matthew Good Band's 1997 album *Underdogs*. The video appeared in 1998.
