Synopsis

The black-and-white video follows a young Japanese couple as they fall in love and symbolically exchange their hearts. Their romance develops through playful gestures and affectionate interactions, but the passage of time gradually changes them. • "You Showed Me" was released as the fourth and final single from the Lightning Seeds' 1996 album "Dizzy Heights," arriving in April 1997.

• The track was originally intended to be a B-side for "What If..." before the band decided that the finished recording was strong enough to include on the album.

• It is a cover of the song written by Gene Clark and Roger McGuinn, first recorded by the Byrds and later made famous by the Turtles.
