Lyrics

As He Came Into The Window
It Was The Sound Of A
Crescendo
He Came Into Her Apartment
He Left The Bloodstains On
The Carpet
She Ran Underneath The Table
He Could See She Was Unable
So She Ran Into The Bedroom
She Was Struck Down, It Was
Her Doom

Annie Are You Ok
So, Annie Are You Ok

I agree with everyone. This video is probably the best one youll ever see. Its one of those things that "they don't make like that anymore". The dancing and the music is very original and exactly the kind of content that sealed MJ as an amazing dancer.

I'm a huge MJ fan and I know that Smooth Criminal is one of the hardest routines to pull off. It is without doubt, Michael Jackson's most awsome video and it wows all members of my family. Fantastic.

I AGREE!!! its the best film clip, it can only be done once and only by michael. But all mjs songs and film clips are all original and great! im a huge fan

i agree with rob, michael jackson was MADE BY THIS SONG and is definately one of his best.
the alien ant farm version is ok but lacks the soul that the michael jackson original version has.

well done m.j

Definately my favorite music video ever!!!
The 'true' video was a clip from the movie 'Moonwalker', and is 10 times better than the edited version for MTV. The year was 1988: Thriller's brilliance had stunned everyone 4 years before and Michael was in his hey day, busy making 'Moonwalker' and 'Bad'.
'Smooth Criminal' starts with Michael outside the door of a dilapidated old club called the 'Club 30's'. When he opens the door, however, he finds himself in the wonderfully restored club from the prohibition era, complete with tough guys in hats and pretty girls in petticoats.
Every beat and I mean EVERY beat to the song has been painstakingly choreographed. There isn't one person in the whole cast who doesn't know where they're supposed to be and what they're supposed to do when they get there. Michael, of course, is fantastic, giving us all the mechanically precise dancing that only he can do. This is quite simply the best perfomace by an entire cast I have ever seen in a music video. Much more like watching a show on Broadway than a pop video.A wonderful film for a wonderful song. It's a treat to watch. 10/10!
