Synopsis
In a muted, wintry landscape, Adam Duritz performs at a piano surrounded by bare trees while the Counting Crows play in an austere interior. Courteney Cox appears as a woman alone in a dim room, repeatedly writing and reconsidering a letter. A chalkboard marked with dates reinforces the sense of time passing and emotional stagnation. Eventually, she leaves the building and walks toward a bus stop, still holding the letter, as the video closes on the song's melancholy promise of possible renewal.
