I would like to find out the Saab commercial song where they fly by the bus then stop and wait on the side of the road. It's like, I gotta leave this place behind.....watch me now.....etc.

I went to the saab website and submitted the question because my roommate had been after the song, too. It was written originally for the commercial. Here's their response:

Thank you for your interest in Saab's new commercial. The artist in the
commercial is a studio singer hired for that
particular spot we did. To our knowledge, they do not have a CD out or any other
recordings.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to obtain the name of the artist or the
song. We do know that the song is an
original piece of music written specifically for that TV spot and it is only
about 30 seconds in length.

Hi there. I'm a bit hesitant to post this message, but..
Ok, I compose electronic music. I never saw this commercial but my mom told me that [she think]Saab have been using my music for their ad. Strange. She's probably wrong but I'd really like to hear this music. Is there anybody who could send me a mp3 or RA file with the music used for this commercial?
I don't have TV at home and (until now). Maybe somebody sampled something from my record.. probably not, but I'd just like to make it clear.

I heard this song in it's entirety at a hairshow in Las Vegas last August, someone told me it was Peter Gabriel, but I still can't find it. It's vocals sound a little like Sting. Let me know if anyone finds it.

I just called Saab customer service and was told the name of the song is "Weaver" and the name of the artist sounded something like "Johnny, Johnny, What's the Score". As of October there was no CD available but it sounded like there might be one available soon.
