Annabel Jankel and Rocky Morton

Both were students at a filmacedemy and met there in 1975. 1978 they founded the Cucumber Studios in London. Together they produced commercials for Pirelli, Quattro, etc. and numerous for television. They also produced logos and trailers for TV shows like Friday Night Videos and The Tube. Their work always plays with a combination of animation and real film. 'Accidents Will Happen' for Elvis Costello was their first music video. This one was followed by 'Questionaire' for her brother Chaz Jankel and lots more. 1984 Annabel published the book 'Creative Computer Graphics'. Later, Jankel and Morton developed the character 'Max Headroom' - a common idea with Steve Roberts. Then they realised the movie 'Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future' what became a weekly TV series later.
