Toyota Human Touch Commercial
This is a great new commercial from Japan advertising the new line of Toyota cars and all those great little features in a modern car.
We see a young man entering his silver Toyota. The surprise is: instead of seats the cars sports two men in grey suits as front seats. And with this idea the spot moves on. The speakers are faces whisteling, the wipers are moved manually, the airbag is inflated by hand, the trunk is opened and lit by a crouching Toyota employee.
What this great spot teaches us about Toyota is: behind every detail, every invention, every system there is one technician or a team of engineers doing their best every day to improve this one piece and the overall experience. So if you ever spend a thought about all those people involved in developing a car - then this is the spot for you: it's the hymn on the "human touch" in automobiles. Watch it, love it - and go: buy a Toyota ;-)
Once again, the great VFX work on this commercial was done by London-based effects shop
Ne-o, which also did the classic
VW Golf GTI Singin' In The Rain advert.
