Bond homage for LUX with Zeta-JonesFor Unilever's asian-region brand LUX (hair products) JWT Tokyo created a James Bond homage called "Alchemist", a seven minutes epic, more a short film than a simple .30 TV commercial. To handle the production, the asian createors relied on English talent and many Bond experts. The script, after a small in-house pitch, was written by GoldenEye and The Constant Gardener veteran Jeffrey Caine. Production was handed to Ridley Scott's RSA, known for it's good Hollywood connections. Lensed was the film by Gladiator DP John Mathieson, directed by Dawn Shadforth. The film will be shown only in the asian region, in China and Japan, on TV and in an altered version in cinemas. Further reading:
