The Cola Wars Girls

The long gone days of cola wars seem to come back. These days a new ad from the Coca Cola Company is making it rounds on the net.

The blonde girl from the Cola ad is Nicole Vicius. In the ad we see the young girl roller skating at the beach and doing fun stuff with her Diet Coke; according to this article all happening on Zuma Beach in Malibu.

For fans of the Superbowl this type of advertising isn't exactly new. That Pepsi Girl, the Pepsi original, even has its own fan blog and MySpace page. Mandy Amano shot to stardom through her appearance in the iTunes Pepsi ads that premiered during the 2005 Super Bowl. Now a year later the giant from Atlanta tries its own spin on the cola girl phenomenon.

Also, refer to this Forum post. It says the music / song used in the Coke version is Paul Oakenfold "Starry Eyed Surprise" heavily sampling Harry Nilsson "Everybody's Talking At Me Lyrics". The song is a collaboration between producer Paul Oakenfold and vocalist Shifty (aka Shifty Shellshock, aka Seth Brooks Binzer, from Crazy Town).
