Cillit Bang and viral marketing

Today the viral marketing surrounding Reckitt Benckiser's cleaning product Cillit Bang entered another round: numerous radio stations around the globe picked up the cheesy
JAKAZiD hardcore remix of the commercial.
Which commercial? Well, in the UK market the Cillit Bang range of products is marketed in TV adverts and commercial presentations featuring fictional character Barry Scott. In the adverts, Barry uses a 1p coin to prove Cillit's cleaning ability. Over-enthusiastic and done in the usual US sell-o-vision style the commercials soon catched on and made their way on the internet.
Now, the adverts are source of many spoofs, videos remixes and of course landed on YouTube. Reckitt Benckiser actually did nothing to kick this viral marketing scoop off (as far as we know). But now they are doing their best to keep the fiore burning. The "hardcore remix", as it was announced recently, is due to be released by the Nukleuz dance music label on CD, 12" and digital download. Also Barry Scott now has an own blog
