Microsoft to launch iPod killer
Redmond has been busy lately doing presentations at major music labels to industry execs. The topic: a new device soon to be sold by the giant from Seattle rivaling Apple's iPod and thus starting a new Apple vs. Microsoft war.

As it leaked from these presentations, the device codenamed "Argo" (based on the greek tale of the Argonauts, traveling on their ship 'Argo') will not only feature iPod specific functions like music management and playback, but also rich multimedia capabilies, onboard FM-radio receiver and Wi-Fi compatibility.
We will see if Microsft will unleash a collossus marketing campaign around the device or not. So far the software-company said it would follow a grass-roots campaign and NOT throw marketing dollars against Apple. Surely a clever step, as Apple is not exactly an easy rival, with over 60 million iPod sales under its belt.
Latest news is that the player will not be named "Argo", but "Zoon". We will see, soon...
