Clipland PRO re-launch

Clipland PRO started out one year after Clipland appeared on the web. Back in 1999 the PRO section of our site was a source for in-depth information and research tools.

Since then, the site and its layout has grown significantly. Things changed and the use of a Knowledge AND a PRO area was not clear.

So we decided to merge these two areas and make room for a new and exciting area of Clipland - Clipland PRO! Most of the information that could be found on the PRO section is now available under the Knowledge tab.

The PRO area is now what you would expect: a section dedicated to professional services and custom solutions for businesses or professional individuals working in the fild of film & tv, the movies or commercial production.

So far we offer 3 services:
Clipland PRO | Portfolio makes showing Demo Reels and hosting Showreels online a breeze. Upload your video files, manage and compile showreels and get your work seen in minutes.
Also, Portfolio is the access interface to our backend letting you upload your videos and manage their exhibition on the public Clipland pages.

Clipland PRO | Directory which enables you to search and find professionals in film, TV and multimedia production.

Clipland PRO | Research Expertise is your external research department. At Clipland we are experts for all aspects of short form media. Wheather you need to know production or talent credits of the latest music video or set locations of a certain television commercial - we will find out.

Soon to be opened is
Clipland PRO | VideoShelf
which is now in a closed beta and will offer a quick and easy solution to source short form video content, readily cleared for online and offline usage.

Also planned but still in development:
Tools to streamline the film production process, namely bringing the 'studio pipeline' online.
Clipland | PIX is short for Clipland Picture Internet Exchange. Put simply, Clipland PIX is a secure FTP site that allows media professionals to easily and securely share information over the internet. It will link the team on location with the editor, the studio, the client etc. and help communicate over a single channel - exchange edits, files and messages.
