Clipland redesigned search function

We redesigned our search function!

After precise analysis of our users search behavior we decided to simplify our search box in combination with a new results page. Now the default function is to search all areas. A drop-down menu enables you to search only in a specific topic. All other search options were moved to the Extended Search page.

Try it and search for the term 'universe' You will notice that some results are available but not in all categories. The results are sorted and grouped by database area.

Update: Clipland now also features a video search engine. Although still in beta and with a relatively small set of entries, you get quite good results on some searches. The results of the Clipland video search engine appear grouped with the other Clipland database results at the bottom of the page. As the engine is still in beta results appear only on availability to avoid cluttering the page.
