U2 is both: a household name and an industry veteran. Back in 1980 only a few could predict that years later, in 2006, U2 is still actively working.
U2 is one of the few who released quite a number of publications over the years. The earliest being

'Gone (Live From Mexico City)' to the most recent
'One'. Working in only one genre is not the aim of
U2. So far works belonging to the genres of
Ballad,
